A 'Back to Basics' Approach to Leading Our School Forward

I ran for school board in 2023 on the idea that we needed to return 'back to basics', and I still believe that to be the case again in 2025. Our school district is our community's largest (and most expensive) asset and in order to maintain and expand that asset for all, we need to get 'back to basics' in how we treat and operate our district.
The idea is simple. Let's guide all decision making based on three main criteria:
Will parents agree that this is the best decision for their children?
Does this advance our educational mission to help adequately prepare students?
Are we acting fiscally responsibly, to not disadvantage future generations of students?
These aren't radical ideas or crazy notions. It's just 'basic' - or at least it should be.
